Training for AID

BMD organises on request basic AID workshops for the following subjects:

• AID Training I: ANA – DNA – ENA
• AID Training II: ANCA
• AID Training III: RODENT TISSUES (AMA, ASMA, APCA, LKM, etc.)
• AID Training IV: COEILIAC DISEASE
• AID Training V: MONKEY TISSUES

 
 

The theoretical background of these tests will be explained as well as the clinical meaning of the laboratory results.

Most important in the workshops is the pattern recognition: how do the patterns look like? How can you distinguish one pattern from the other? All patterns are illustrated with slides and also individual interpretation on the microscope is part of the program. The aim of the AID workshops is to upgrade the practical knowledge of the participant.

Clinicians as well as laboratory technicians are welcome.
